Doggies....

I know, I know.. not in the least triplet related.. but I was going through some old pictures tonight and wanted to take you down memory lane a little bit.. these are scanned pictures.. for those of you that are 12 & younger.. in the olden days we used to have cameras that printed on "film" and we had to take the roll of film to the photomat to get printed...

I wanted to share a few of my old "young" dog Molly.. she was a poodle.. these pictures could be a bit disturbing to some so if you are a little squeemish then don't look...

so Molly Jo was a great little dog, she was with me through thick & thin, when I lived alone in an apt she was my companion.. Molly was the runt of the litter, that's what drew me to her, I'm always voting for the underdog, it's an attraction that I have. If someone was standing all alone looking sad, that's where i'm drawn. She was smaller than all the other puppies, but that's what I loved about her! When Molly was a little puppy this is what she looked like..

so cute & full of life.. here she is inside a cowboy boot... that is my Mom's little dog behind her, who, by the way is still kickin it..

Then as Molly got a bit older, she was cute as can be, she went everywhere with me, here she is at my old apt, a low point in my life, I had no furniture (long long story) but Molly was there, she was my buddy when I thought that I had nobody... here she is looking for a job in another state because her Mommy thought life would be better with a new start in a new place

but I didn't go to another state, I decided to wait it out.. see if things could get better, and soon they did. Life was good again, i'll make a really long story short. Chad & I met up again after almost 10 years after High School. I decided to move again, only closer to Chad. Molly came with me, of course, Chad loved Molly too, she was a great little dog, have I mentioned that.

One day Molly got very, very sick, she spent 4 days at the vetinarian, She had Pancreatitis. Molly was fine up until that day, we had many tests done on Molly to find out what was wrong and the tests all came back good, then over the course of a year or so, we watched Molly gain some weight, lose some hair & drink excessive amounts of water, she would wake in the middle of the night and whine to go outside where she would drink massive amounts of water out of the pool. It was very sad! So I took her to a new Vet where more blood tests were done, Cushings Sydrome, My dog has Cushings Syndrome, a huge tumor on her pituitary gland. We watched Molly go downhill from there, she gained tons of weight, lost most of her hair, her skin turned purplish, she was a very sick dog. We spent $50.00 a month on medication for her that did nothing, but it was worth a try. Eventually we had to make the decision, the decision that all humans hate to make, the decision to end the life of your friend, your pal. The decision was hard to make, but it was made and I have no regrets, Here is Molly on her last day with us, she was so sick and it was hard to look at her, I cried like no other that day! I miss you Molly Jo, rest in peace !!
