Look.....

Who came to see us today!! Uncle Darin!! He read us some books.. well tried... it's hard to read 3 books at one time!! He also taught Devin how to say "Purple".. it sounded just like it too!!! Here is a quick picture.. incidentally.. it will be my picture of the day for my 365 project too!!

I was going to leave some comment like 'Darin can read?' but decided to add another comment instead. When everyone came down for my dad and Phyllis' wedding, and we went to Sea World, I made some comment in the car like, "I don't think any of the S men inherited the good spelling gene." I then ended up spending the entire one and half hours in the van listening to Darin and Kevin compete in a mock spelling bee to prove me wrong, and boy did they! So, knowing how well Darin spells, no one would believe the 'Darin can read?' comment.

Uncle Kevin,

Only you would consider yourself a ***runner up*** champion. LOL I'm just going to make a guess here that the word you did *not* miss was the word VAIN. But that's just a guess.

I must have discovered the word you missed on the spelling bee! Listen, dork...d...o...r...k....I was spelling the version that defines:

1. excessively proud of or concerned about one's own appearance, qualities, achievements, etc....

You just spelled the type that defines:

1. a blade, plate, sail, etc., in the wheel of a windmill, to be moved by the air.

Bring it on, Mr. Runner Up Sixth Grade Spelling Bee Champ! :) You and your kind do not scare this anonymous dork.

ok.. now, I don't want my readers to get the feeling that you guys are "serious"... although the "S's" know that your not.. everyone else might get the feeling that you are really having a major argument...

Uncle Kevin is the "KING" of sarcasm and Leigh just might be the "Queen"..

So.. it's all in fun people..nothing to see here. run along.. go home, the internet is closed..
