To all the Veteran Parents out there...

To all the Veteran Parents out there..... I have a question....

Is it customary for the parent (s) to eat all of your kids Halloween candy?

I don't want to know.. I'm asking for a friend of a friend's, cousin's, Great Aunt.....

Yes, but only if it's chocolate. Leave all War Heads, Nerds, and powdered candy straws to them. You will run into problems when they can account for their candy. This is when you will teach them the fine art of negotiation - "Mom needs that peanut butter cup and you need a ride to your friends house, so maybe we can work out a deal here." I think you'll be fine another two years or so, but then all bets are off.

I think its also customary for other parents to eat their friends kids Halloween candy if she/he wears a smaller size jean.

Address please?

We divide the candy among all of us! That was the sugar high doesn't last for months at a time!

Yeah, I only eat chocolate. My share is all gone and the kids have a ton left, but they probably weighed it and would miss a single piece at this point. It's tough when they get older because you have to pay for chocolate :-(
