Some sad news...
We got a call yesterday that my Grandma has been having some mini strokes.. She is unable to eat and can talk but is not easily understood. I'm so thankful that we were able to make the trip out to see her a few weeks ago.. and I only wish that I could be in that car heading to Colorado right now to see her.. We hope & pray that she makes it.. but it does not look good. Please keep my Grandma in your prayers if you can!
A conversation with my Grandma today:
me: Hi Grandma
G: Hi stef
me: how are you feeling?
G: i'm hanging in there
me: we sure miss you a bunch, the kids talk about you all the time and how much they loved the mountains.
G: i'm so glad you brought them out to see me
me: well. we only wish we could have stayed longer, and i wish we could have seen you more.. but you know the kids are kinda crazy..
G: I wish we could all come together, i wish that we could see you all every weekend
me: we wish we could too, we'd have you cook for us
G: (laugh) I got rid of all my pots & pans
me: (still laughing) well.. we won't make you cook then, we'll cook for you
G: ok
me: are you eating?
G: yeah, i've been eating
me: good, you sound great..
G: i'm going to hang in there
me: I love you with all my heart and we miss you like crazy
G: I love you too Stef
me: we are going to take your advice and we aren't going to blame Chase for everything anymore unless we know he did it..
G: (laugh)
me: i'll call you again soon, good luck with your x-ray, i hope that everything turns out ok.
G: yeah me too
me: ok. Grandma, I love you
G: i love you too Stef
I had to blog this so i would never forget it.. i'm sure a few things may have been left out.. but this is it for the most part... My parents are on their way, please pray that they make it in time.

Stef, I am soooooooo sorry. I cried the rest of the way to work. I love you all and hearing you upset makes me sad. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
This post makes me cry. I lost my Grandma this summer. I can still clearly remember one of our last phone conversations too. I should blog it. My kids miss their GG Del. I am so sorry for your loss. Losing a Grandmother is never easy. May your heart find peace at this time.
