The Wheels on the bus....

The boys' first bus ride.... They were sooooo excited.... Today it hit me that they are so big.. today ... I cried... tears of joy that Devin had this smile that was plastered across his face as big as the sky, as he was waving at me driving away.. I cried. It was so cute... Here are some photos from today before I cry again...

For those of you that have asked. They are all split up this year. Chase & Devin are at the same school, but have different classes on the opposite end of the school. Macy is going to an entirely different school and will start next Tuesday, she doesn't get to ride the bus, but will be happy to ride Mom's bus. They were all evaluated for the Early Education Center, The boys have some sensory issues. Nothing major, they barely made it in, if not for them seeing the need for each of them to have their own space and own time. Macy is going to be going to our church Pre-School and should have a great time interacting with lots of girls her age, including, her BFF Ava.

We are doing the same thing this fall. 2 of them are going to school together (sensory/speech delays) and Kyra is going to a church 3 year old program. They start in about 2 weeks. Its so bittersweet, isn't it. I am so excited for them, but so sad that my babies are growing so fast!!
How did you decide to let them ride the bus? I have been thinking about it, but am scared.....

This was our "exact" situation last year... I was SO upset to have them at two different schools, how would they do, how would *I* do, etc.... they all LOVED it!! Lorne and Isaac were at the SPED center (b/c of their vision) but in different classes - they LOVED it. Sullivan had his OWN school though he didn't get to ride the bus... every time we went to church he called it "his" church. :)

Good luck, Mommy!!

XOXO,
Kara
