Happy Birthday America...

It's so hard to believe.. just two short years ago today... I was only home from the hospital with my 3 babies for 2 days... I remember looking out the window at the fireworks and not really too enthused about them... the smell of the smoke made me sick.. But here we are two years later and we actually sat outside and watched the fireworks.. the kids actually stayed up until 10:00, Devin was the big surprise this year.. he LOVED them and kept saying.. More.. More.. More.. The other two... Not so much... Macy wanted to go inside and Chase sat intently on Grandpa S's lap.. just as long as Grandpa's hands were over his ears... Devin could not get enough and couldn't wait for the next one...

Again, i'm bragging... but this is the view from our backyard.. People come watch the fireworks from all over and we just go outside and sit in a chair by the pool....

I didn't really bring my "A" game to the fireworks this year.. I was trying out a new lens.. and wasn't even sure I was going to set up my tripod at all, it had rained earlier in the day.. but at the last minute, I decided to give it a go... Here is what I got.. just cropped & sharpened a bit...
